There are two ways to proxy CIFS (SMBv1). You can mount a SMBv1/CIFS
server with the linux kernel and then re-export, or you can use the
SMBv1 'vfs_cifs' proxy in the developer ntvfs file server.
The former uses fully 'supported' components, but is a kludge, the
latter will be higher-fidelity but uses unsupported components from a
now-depricated development project.
There isn't a full SMB2 proxy at this time.
Chose your poison!
Or better, tell us what you are trying to do (rather than how you are
trying to do it) and hope we can figure out a better solution.
All the best,
Andrew Bartlett
