[Samba] Previous versions of samba or how to disable NTML2 authentication
If I run apt-get install samba, this only seems to retrieve the latest version of samba. How do I retrieve an earlier version of samba? Alternatively, how do I disable NTMLv2 on my Linux PC? The settings in the link below work for Windows 7 and I can access my Terastation again from Windows 7, but how do I do this on a Linux PC (Ubuntu 14.04)? http://digitalquery.com/blog/2006/09/vista_and_buffalo_terastation/ smbtree finds the Tersstation, but says "Incomplete multibyte sequence" and doesn't list any of the shares. smbtree works for my LinkStation. Thanks in advance Adrian
