samba - Nov 2009 - Accessed denied to shares unless IP address is used

I just upgraded from Ubuntu feisty server edition to Ubuntu hardy server.
Samba updated to version 3.0.28a.The smb.conf is the same I had before
(checked that).

Your dns/netbios name resolution is not working. Usually this issue  
resolves if you enable wins server on samba and add samba server ip as  
wins server on windows client.
