samba - May 2008 - open file not shown in smbstatus but in lsof

Hello,

we have a clipper application that locks certain files. Today a user 
called me that he can not access this file

A

smbstatus | grep -i sauswk

where sauswk is part of the filename, returned nothing

lsof -i | grep sauswk

returned this filename

How could this happen ?
