I have searched for a problem similar to mine, but haven't seen it reported.
Problem:
Using offline folders on Win XP, I can:
* Synchronize
* Work locally on Win XP
* Synch back to Samba
I cannot:
* Open OpenOffice files marked as offline *when I'm connected* to my samba
server. I get a "file not found" response when double-clicking in an
Win
Explorer window. However, the file is visible when browsing.
Solution:
By chance, I removed oplocking on the samba server, and now it works!
Is this a known problem? Is there another solution?
Samba 3.0.24 on Kubuntu Feisty.
