good morning, i am currently running samba version 3.0.23a on fedora core 4 linux as a pdc. i would like to convert the server to centos linux due to the death of the fedora legacy project.. i think that the process to do this, as it pertains to samba, would follow the process to replace a samba pdc. can someone point me to the link of a howto that would aid me in replacing a samba pdc, i.e., what files need to be backed up, importing/exporting sid's, etc...? thank you, stuart

If so is the ldap server on the same machine or a different box? John
