DOES NOT PERTAIN TO DOVECOT: Does anyone use postfix for some help?
When mail is sent from the mail server, it shows up as originating from
the MAIN ip address of the server, 173.50.101.11, when the mail server
is bound to 173.50.101.12. I have already set smtp_bind_address:
173.50.101.12 in main.cf and 173.50.101.12:smtp inet - - smtpd in
master.cf. This prevents smtp connects TO any other ip but 173.50.101.12
BUT mail STILL shows up originating from eth1,

Issue with Samba4 and Active Directory 2008R2
...Active Directory.
We can make the connections, see the server in the "computers" section
of the AD. We have been able to establish valid Kerberos connections
and can establish a trust relationship.
When we run the wbinfo utility we are able to retrieve group
information, information pertaining to the DC, information pertaining to
the domain, but we receive nothing back from the wbinfo -u command.
Also we have not setup the Samba4 server as a DC, nor do we want to.
Looking for possible areas to examine.
Thanks

The method used within the crypto API is:

(2) Create a hash of the challenge using the CALG_SSL3_SHAMD5 method.
(3) Sign the hash
(4) return to host

Dropped calls when all DAHDI lines in use
..., so I am not able to easily distinguish between a
normal hangup and this type of dropped call. In testing, I am able to get a new
SIP client to report "service unavailable" when all 8 lines are consumed, yet
still drops are reported.
I have been unable to find any configuration settings pertaining to prioritizing
existing calls over new calls. What else can I look for to attempt to debug and
fix this so that existing calls are not dropped?
Thanks,
Andrew

Question on creating Date variable
Hello all,
Let say I have following (numeric) vector:
> x
[1] 11.00 11.25 11.35 12.01 11.14 13.00 13.25 13.35 14.01 13.14 14.50
14.75 14.85 15.51 14.64
Now, I want to create a 'Date' variable (i.e. I should be able to do all
calculations pertaining to date/time and also time-series plotting etc.)
like
2012-12-31 11:00:00 AM, 2012-12-31 11:25:00 AM, 2012-12-31 11:35:00 AM,
2012-12-31 12:01:00 PM, . . . .
Is it possible to achieve that?
Thanks and regards,

Appending data to a data.frame and writing a csv

write.csv(sim_data, file='sim_data.csv', append=TRUE, row.names=FALSE)
}
For a given set of 0's and 1's (i.e. for each simulation and there are 50 simulations), first I filter all the entries corresponding to 0's i.e. for a given simulation, I need to store ead, lgd and pd pertaining to only non-zeros i.e. pertaining to 1. Thus, for each of these 50 simulations, I need to define a data.frame giving me filtered ead, lgd and pd and in teh end write a single file sim_data.csv
I get
following warnings.
Warning messages:

OpenSSH 2.5.2p1 - What has changed since 2.5.1p
Pardon the novice question here, but after the problems I had with trying to
get 2.5.1p(whatever) to install on one of my systems, I noticed with great
interest the release of 2.5.2p1. When I checked out the change log for this
releases RPM, there was nothing pertaining to what has changed between
2.5.1p and 2.5.2p. I didn't see anything on the OpenSSH web site regarding
changes between these releases. I'd like to know if anything has changed
that might help some of the problems I was having installing 2.5.1p.
Is the information I'm looking for n...

Embedding R in C application
...is a C application that currently runs on Win32, but
will also run on Linux in the future. From the material that I have
seen, I need R compiled as a shared library to evaluate R expressions
from C. Is this correct? If so, can I download this shared library from
somewhere? Is there any API document pertaining to this shared library?
Thanks for you time,

Ruby/Rails TextMate macros
Could someone kindly send me a copy of the TextMate macros that pertain

Sadly I am not yet able to make the leap from Linux (and Windows) to a
Mac and I am using Slickedit, which has *zero* built in support for
Ruby/Rails. I can add macros and code templates s...

'winbind use default domain' doesn't appear to work with ntlm_auth
Hi Rowland,
I did enable NTLMv1 to provide necessary support for pppd for PPTP VPN connections and that's working as expected. I however do not find any release notes pertaining to 'winbind use default domain = yes' no longer working on a Samba DC. The Samba man pages appear to detail options which apply to winbindd (https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/manpages/winbindd.8.html), which includes the 'winbind use default domain' option. The only reference...

Listing Variables
How does one create a vector whose contents is the list of variables in a
dataframe pertaining to a particular pattern?
This is so simple but I cannot find a straightforward answer.
I want to be able to pass the contents of that list to a "for" loop.
So let us assume that one has a dataframe whose name is Data. And let us
assume one had the height of a group of people measured...

Anyone actively using RLT for mobile phone forwarding?
...ely using the Asterisk "RLT" (Release
Link Trunking) feature to bounce these sorts of calls back to the
telco? The idea being to forward the call to their mobile phone without
tying up two of the PRI channels (one inbound and one outbound)
for the duration of the call.
If so, any caveats pertaining to the combination of RLT and Asterisk
that I should be aware of before attempting to build such a system?
Thanks,

Very slow initial opening MS-Word and MS-Excel files from Samba
...like, say for several
minutes or more), the time it takes to start the application and load
the file seem inordinately long.
Once the first evolution is complete, files open more-or-less instantly
if I close the first document but leave either app running (but void of
any open documents). This pertains to the same file opened a second
time, or different files -- once Word/Excel has done whatever it is
thats takes so long for initial start up, then load performance is
acceptable (in fact it is very impressive!).
And it is not merely the loading of the app, because it happens both
when I star...
