[Samba] string overflow by 8 in string_sub(%L, 3)
I'am running a SAMBA ver 3.0.20b-3.11 on a Novell Linux Enterprise Server 9. I am accessing samba from WinXP and OS/2 clients. After some hours of normal operation I get the following repeating error in /var/log/samba/log.smdb which floods the log file and full the hard disk, bringing the entire system down. ... Any help is really appreciated since I've no solution but restarting the system each time it happens and delete gigabytes of var/log/samba/log.smdb . -- Massimiliano Campagnoli PAOLO ASTORI SRL VIA MIRABELLA, 9 28013 - GATTICO ITALY Tel: +39 0322 838847 Fax: +39 0322 880198 Web: www.paoloastori.com
