samba - Jun 2006 - bug 3794: smbclient and Vista_beta2: spnego fails

Basically spnego fails with vista and you have somehow force to downgrade to
ntlmssp.

To samba devels:
I see the bug submitter sent 2 emails to samba-technical that went
unanswered. I don't understand why, the issue is real and blocking.

Maybe you have some info that there will be changes in vista final which
will solve the issue automatically? If not, I think it would be better to
solve this ASAP so that in 6 months the correction will have already started
to be propagated and we won't read a slashdot article about "vista
breaks
samba".

I believe you, but finishing 3.0.23 takes priority.  Please
be patient.  I've only seen the bug reports.  Has someone
taken the initiative to produce a patch as well?  If so, please
forward it to me.  Otherwise, we will get to it after 3.0.23.
