Hi, Regarding "change share command" option in smb.conf. I am not using it by I am wondering how it can ever work if input parameters don't include existing share name. I mean if you want to change existing share name to new share name, don't you need to get the old share name too? It can only work if what you want to change is the path or the comment and the input share name is an existing share name and not a new share. Just wondering. Cheers, Ephi

You cannot change the share name only the parameters. You can remove and readd the share under a new name though. cheers, jerry ====================================================================Samba ------- http://www.samba.org Centeris ----------- http://www.centeris.com "What man is a man who does not make the world better?" --Balian -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEgO5uIR7qMdg1EfYRAjeTAJ4pXFo++y98uSvK8mrd2Rfu5bXlEQCgr/t4 ZGglM9CUzkNLTKd4T0C7XPs=0Fr0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
