I have Samba 3.0.22 installed on a FreeBSD 6.1 OS. I am fairly new to Samba, so please bear with me. I set up shares for /var /usr and $HOME without any problems. They can all be accessed from one of my WinXP Pro machines without incident. I then created a share for the ZIP drive on the FreeBSD system. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the the ZIP drive installed on the FreeBSD machine. I continually receive this error message: ********** \\seibercom\zip is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Network access is denied! ********** I have no idea how to correct this problem. The ZIP drive is mounted automatically at boot time from /etc/fstab. -- Gerard Seibert gerard@seibercom.net
