We have a wonderful new mac server running osx 10.4.6 but infrequently the nmbd needs to be killed and relaunched inorder to get my windows shares working again. (shares are on a windows 2000 server) Check out the last lot of logs. I have spoken to a few people in the Australian Mac community and there seems to be a common theme.
