samba - Nov 2005 - smbpasswd -a UID/privs checking needed

FreeBSD 6.0 + Samba 3.0.20b
running "smbpasswd -a <login>" under non-root privileges dumps
core
instead of polite warning "not root ... cannot add users".

Samba should IMHO behave better at this point ...
