Hi I have a samba 3.0.20a server as a member server in a windows 2003 AD. All the domaincontrollers is on the other side of the wan link. What will happen if the link goes down, can users still connect to my samba memberserver? Is there some sort of cached credentials? /Clas

Is there some sort of cached credentials?AFAIK, Samba3 could not act as a BDC of a W2k3 PDC. So, if you lost access to your MS Windows boxes you, probably, are on your own, without "fallback". AFAICT, there are some sort of cached credential but not for that pourpose, the idea should be "quick auth". :-) Hope it helps.
