samba - Sep 2005 - Change Domain Password on Linux Client with winbind and PAM ?!?

hi list,

does anyone have a working installation to be able to change windows nt 
domain passwords on a linux client, which is joined the domain (by net 
rpc join)?

authentication of domain users via pam_winbind.so works great but 
changing passwords seems to have no effect:

user@linux~# passwd
user@linux~#

root can change his password.
if you need config files, just let me know!
