Hello list, I have two NT4 domains with trust relationships between them. The samba 3.0.20 client has joined the domain TEST01. TEST02 is the trusted domain (which lies in the same subnet). wbinfo shows the following results: samba-3.0.20/source> wbinfo -t checking the trust secret via RPC calls succeeded samba-3.0.20/source> wbinfo -m TEST02 samba-3.0.20/source> wbinfo -u TEST01\Administrator TEST01\Gast TEST01\user-test01 The wbinfo manpage says, that "Users in all trusted domains will also be listed". Ideas? Thanks. Martin -- Martin Zielinski mz@seh.de Software Development SEH Computertechnik GmbH www.seh.de

[Samba] Solved: User of trusted NT domain are not listed
Sorry for that noise - my mistakes. One test scenario had the problem, that the trusted server is a 2003 Server which rejects anonymous connections. (Has to be workarounded by the "set-auth-user" wbinfo option.) The second test scenario used twice the same vmware image as base (=> double domain SID). So the trusted domain has not been added to the internal samba domain-list! Tja...
