[Samba] Anyone have management docs for a Samba migration?
I'm helping out a Sun colleague, who has to present a formal proposal and plan to management for Solaris adoption. If anyone has docs for a migration, I'll happily scrub them of any identifying matter for our use, and if it's OK, for addition to the supporting material at samba.org. --dave -- David Collier-Brown, | Always do right. Quoting David Collier-Brown <David.Collier-Brown@Sun.COM>: Take a look at http://www.idealx.org/prj/samba/smbldap-howto.en.html for migration. Use the IdealX Management Console for management of the domain (http://imc.sourceforge.net). I am making some annotations to the original howto (which is very Red Hat-centric) for Debian. Maybe that would be useful for Solaris. I will have my final version of the howto by next week (after I come back from aKademy) and will send changes to IdealX for a merge.> I'm helping out a Sun colleague, who has to present > a formal proposal and plan to management for Solaris adoption. > If anyone has docs for a migration, I'll happily scrub them of any > identifying matter for our use, and > if it's OK, for addition to the supporting material > at samba.org. > > --dave > -- > David Collier-Brown, | Always do right.
