Hello Group,
I've newly installed samba 3.01 on my two Debian systems.
It seems to be running well because:

But if I try to mount one share on the new server WS1:
meyer@ws1: mount -t smbfs //ws1/MultiMedia /mnt/disk
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on //ws1/MultiMedia,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
or
meyer@ws1: mount -t smbfs //vdr/Video /mnt/disk
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on //vdr/Video,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
But on the other server, my VDR:
meyer@ws1:/home/Meyer# ssh vdr
Password:
Last login: Sun Jul 10 01:29:35 2005 from ws1.privatelan.at
vdr:~# mount -t smbfs //vdr/Video /mnt/disk

vdr:~# dir /mnt/disk

vdr:~# mount -t smbfs //ws1/MultiMedia /mnt/disk
Password:

Anybody can help me?
Thanks in advance
Matthias
