samba - May 2005 - Subject: RE: Samba compatibility with NetAPP filers

We had the same problem after upgrading to samba =>3.10. Disabling of
signing did solve the problem
 
Just add the lines 
 
        client signing = no
        server signing = no
 
 
to the global section of smb.conf
