Hi Friends, I am using samba version 3.0.2a. I want to get some domain information from AD server (2003 server) using my Linux box. I am using "net -d 3 rpc info -S 10.10.110.27" command to get that info. There are 2 cases:- 1) If I am enabling NULL session support on AD server then it works fine (gives me enough information of domain). 2) If I am disabling NULL session support of AD server then it gives following error. [root@buildbox root]# net -d 3 rpc info -S 10.10.110.27 [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 3] param/loadparm.c:lp_load(3810) lp_load: refreshing parameters [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 3] param/loadparm.c:init_globals(1300) Initialising global parameters [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 0] param/params.c:OpenConfFile(532) params.c:OpenConfFile() - Unable to open configuration file "/etc/samba/smb.conf": No such file or directory [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 2] lib/interface.c:add_interface(79) added interface ip=10.66.66.155 bcast=10.66.66.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 3] libsmb/cliconnect.c:cli_start_connection(1337) Connecting to host=10.66.66.115 [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 3] lib/util_sock.c:open_socket_out(710) Connecting to 10.66.66.115 at port 445 [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 1] utils/net_rpc.c:run_rpc_command(138) rpc command function failed! (NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED) [2005/04/08 20:27:48, 2] utils/net.c:main(767) return code = 1 I am expecting that "net rpc info" command should return domain information without enabling NULL session support of AD server (2003 server). Could someone please tell me whether it is possible after doing some winbind configuration or any other changes in samba? Thanks Nandkumar
