samba - Feb 2005 - static WINS entries on workstations - is it possible?

Is it possible to add some kind of "static WINS entries" to Windows 
workstations?

If so, how?

Jep: Edit "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" on a windows-client.

$Systemroot$\system32\drivers\etc\lmhosts
