Hi, When I connect to SAMBA using a particular username, apart from the shares I created, it appears that the home directory of the user logging in also shows up in the share list. I searched for a parameter using which I could control this, but was unsuccessful. The [HOMES] section of my SMB.CONF looks like: [homes] comment = Home Directories read only = No create mask = 0750 browseable = No Any suggestions? Thanks, Madhu

Simply remove the complete [homes] section and these shares will disappear. Christoph
