samba - Mar 2004 - samba file sharing

Hi.

when i try to open a cdument file on a linux machine, which document file is a 
share found on the samba server, the file does not open up and i get a 
message that reads  "An unrecoverable error has occured. All modified files
have beensaved and can probably be recovered at program restart"

As per now i can't open some of the files that are run by the program
"Open
Office.org 1.0". When i check on the permissions i find they are okay.

Nevertheless,when i open these file as a normal user on the samba server 
itself i am able to succeed.

I wonder what brings about this problem.
