Hi,
What linux? distribution are you using? If you are
using rpm based distributions try to do a
rpm -q -a | grep cups
You should see cups, cups-libs and cups-devel
If you don't have cups-devel, --enable-cups will fail
silently and thus your smbd will not link with
libcups.
(You can also check your config.log to see if there
are failures when testing CUPS)
