Hi
Recently I have seen smbd processes starting to consume CPU and memory for no
good
reason. So far only 2 clients, both W2K, trigger their corresponding smbd
process to
misbehave. Stopping the clients "Print Spooler" makes the problem go
away.
There are 4 printers installed on samba and these work fine.
I have tried rebooting the clients, Windows update to latest SW, removing the
clients printers.
During all this one of the clients smbd started to behave again, but the
other client still makes samba misbehave. I can't find any clues in the
samba logs.
Is this a know bug?
Any ideas on how to proceed?
I am running samba on a RH 7.2 server.
