samba - Apr 2003 - Migrating from NT file server to SAMBA file server

Howdy,

I am migrating from NT to SAMBA.
Everything goes fine but one question:
When i copied my files from NT to SAMBA, how is the file security handled ?
In NT you select security and there you select which users may read and
write or what groups.
How do i do this on the files in linux, with this i mean the files in the
shared directories.
