Good day all, and sorry if this one is obvious but I haven't found a solution yet. When my users copy data off of a cdrom in Win2K to a samba share on a Solaris box, the files maintain their read only status (r-xr--r--) despite the create masks in my smb.conf. Is there a way to have these files be copied and have the correct permissions mask applied to it such that they copy files off of a CDROM and can then have them be writeable on the Solaris side without them having to chmod them manually? Thanks
