samba - Mar 2003 - Does %U varible works fine with INCLUDE option in samba -2.2.1a-4

Does %U varible works fine with INCLUDE option in samba -2.2.1a-4,

I have tired it with 2.2.5-10 

the %U variblae works fine with include option in smb.conf 

include = /etc/samba/conf.%U

i woder if its a BUG in samba 2.2.1a-4 or its only me how is getting this
problem.
