Hello We had our samba installed on a solaris Machine (SunOS dbtdev1 5.8 Generic_108528-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4) with a Multipack-Disksystem. 2 weeks ago we replaced the Multipack with SAN (HDS ligthning 9700). Since then we got timeout and other errors, BUT not from all clients only for some clients. Today we swichted back to Multipack-System and it seems it works much better again. Does anybody have such behaviour too? What is/could be the reason for this phenomena? Any idea how to fix it? gcc: ---- Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/2.95.3/specs gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) Samba_Version: 2.2.7a Server_OS: SunOS dbtdev1 5.8 Generic_108528-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4 Client_OS: Win NT 4 samba_log Processing section "[sybooks00]" [2003/01/24 10:45:38, 2] lib/interface.c:add_interface(81) added interface ip=153.46.162.90 bcast=153.46.162.95 nmask=255.255.255.248 [2003/01/24 10:45:38, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_socket_data(499) write_socket_data: write failure.
