Lets say a user uses Mozilla on Linux and Netscape on Windoze under a samba-LDAP PDC where the users can log into either Windows or Linux using the same user record as described in the MandrakeSecure article: http://www.mandrakesecure.net/en/docs/ldap-auth.php The address book and bookmarks files could be sychronized using a symbolic link, could they not? I was originally going to ask if samba would follow the link but it does not matter since Linux surely will. In other words you could make the Linux address book a link to the Windoze one. So what happens when the user logs into Linux and adds a bookmark or a addressbook entry when the file turns out to be a link?
