Hi, since some Months, our Windows 2000 and Windows-XP Clients have the Problem, that in Explorer the Connection to the Share on the Samba-Server seems to be lost. But on clicking on the drive letter in can be reactivated. The Clients habe Windows 2000 SP3 or Windows XP SP1. The Samba-Server is in a Domain controlled by a Windows 2000 Server. In the log-file of the clients with these Problems the folowing ist printed: [2002/12/12 09:06:44, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_socket_data(499) write_socket_data: write failure. Error = Connection reset by peer [2002/12/13 08:37:40, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_socket_data(499) write_socket_data: write failure. On another File-server with the same compile-Options and the same smb.conf, these problems are less often.
