[Samba] What issues are there with running smbmnt suid root?
I was trying to mount a Windows share as a regular user on my system and smbmount said that smbmnt should be installed 'suid root'. I know how to do this, but are there any real issues that arise with this like anything else? I really would like my regular linux users to be able to mount shares using smbmount, but will I be opening myself up to problems with this? Thanks, George
