samba - Nov 2002 - What Windows application will break if set "share modes=no"

Hello, all,

I read in smb.conf man page about "share modes", that many Windows 
application will break if I set it to no.  Can somebody please give me some 
example?    Also more information about what "share modes" acturally
do will
be much appreciated.
