samba - Nov 2002 - Ports Recommended?

Hi All,

I finally got a completely new box (Multiple Domains Thread from last month)
and have just done a fresh FreeBSD 4.7 install.

I used to use a source tarball, but am wondering if there's any reason to
not use the ports tree.
