samba - Sep 2002 - smbclient MS-DFS support

Is there a version of smbclient that supports traversing MS-DFS links? 
smbclient 2.0.7 and 2.2.0 both fail when trying to follow MS-DFS redirects.

smbclient does not currently support MS-DFS.  Steve French's 
cifs fs for Linux does though.
