[Samba] 2.2.5, MSAccess XP Database files (mdb) corrupt
Hi, i have a problem with access xp (2002) database files after moving the files to the linux files server. really often (6 times today) the database file is corrupt. i am running samba 2.2.5 on linux mandrake 8.2 with kernel 2.4.18. i have read that this has something to do with the file locking, but don't know what to do right now. i've set the parameter "veto oplock files = /*.mdb/*.ldb/" with no cure... is there a general guideline what to do work with access, or is this all trial and error? Is there a reasonable log level to track down the problem? thanks for any hint, Joachim B?ddeker -log.[machine]--------------------------------------- [2002/09/12 20:30:45, 0] smbd/fileio.c:seek_file(42) seek_file: (mwDB/GH/mwXP.mdb) sys_lseek failed.
