samba - Sep 2002 - samba and sun solaris 8

Is samba good for sun solaris 8? Does it work? I didn't find any
information about this level of operating sistem.
I need some suggestion how to use printers and files in a win/nt enviroment
and sun solaris 8 but in both directions.
