samba - Sep 2002 - Desktop.ini problem and Roaming profile problem

I have two problems. First, desktop.ini comes up whenever I log on with a
roaming profile, and it is put in the startup folder in the start menu as well
as other places. What is the best way to stop this?

Second, with roaming profiles, it saves certain settings, such as files on the
desktop, but it doesn't save others, such as the wallpaper. How would I fix
this?

Help with either problem (or both) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
