hello, when i try to access my home dir from winxp via my network places, a dialog box comes up asking for a user name and a password. the problem is that the username field is grayed out with "guest" filled in it. here is what my homes share looks like in smb.conf [homes] comment = Home Directories browseable = no writable = yes valid users = %S create mode = 0664 directory mode = 0775 also, security = share i'm using samba-2.2.3a thanks for the help! christopher -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed
