samba - Aug 2002 - after 2.2.5 upgrade, change_trust_account_password fails

I've upgraded 3 servers from 2.0.10a to 2.2.5. Everything works OK as far a
file access, but one of the messages that gets logged now is the following:


smbd[27601]:   2002/08/08 12:06:10 : change_trust_account_password: Failed
to change password for domain XXXX

secret is good. MACHINE.SID and DOMAIN.SERVER.MAC no longer exists in the
/etc/samba directory (they were removed by the upgrade). Do I need to copy
them back in?
