samba - Jul 2002 - Problem with files not being found in Accounting software

Hi all,

I know this might be a dumb one, but......

We're trying to move an accounting system, Sybiz, from a Windows 2000 
server to Samba as a PDC (RH 7.3, Samba 2.2.3, IBM x220 server).

Users can read/write the shared directory ok, but now and then a user will 
find they cannot find a certain DBF in the shared directory while other 
users can access it ok. Press "retry" a few times and then all's
ok.

The directory is browseable, guest access is ok.

Not behavior we were seeing under W2K.

It's only a small office and the security is set pretty low.

Any ideas of where to start or what more info's needed ?
