Hi I am setting linux up as a PDC for windows (98 and XP) machines. I have had good success with version 2.07 but when I upgrade to version 2.2.3a6 (Iam using a Debian release of linux) logons from user machines and acces to home directories work fine but take a really long time to connect. It takes about 30 seconds to logon, another 30 seconds to access the home directories and another 30 seconds to open the home directory. With 2.07 this is all completed very quickly. Is this a known bug (I have not found any reference in the bug reports), an unknown bug or is there something different betwenn the setup of 2.07 and 2.2.3a6 that I am missing? Your reply would be greatly appreciated as I have spent the past 2 weeks trying to sort this out and the past 2 months trying to convince management to switch from Windows NT to linux, and this problem is making it difficult to justify the change. Thank you for your time and help. Bill Shandik
