Have you disabled the oplocks? I do development on Access 97, 2000,
and XP with Samba 2.2.2 on FreeBSD. I have no problems as long as the
oplocks are switched off.
Ciao!

Subject: [Samba] Problems with MS Access 2000
Importance: High
Hallo Samba-team,
I have read of a data corruption problem with an Access 2000 client
running locally and the Access data section on a Samba server.
Please, specify:
- Does this also apply for Access 2002/XP??
- Are older releases like the 2.2.3a also affected?
- Any workarounds known??
- What form of data corruption, what are the symptoms of a corrupted
file?
- Fixing recommandation?
Hope to hear from you real soon.
Thanks you very much!
