samba - Jun 2002 - Bad Interperter?

List,
	I'm trying to make/install Samba 2.2.5 and I'm following the directions
but get this error when I try to run ./configure
Can someone provide assistance?  (I'm a n00b)
Using RH7.2

[root@localhost source]# ./configure
bash: ./configure: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

do you have the /bin/sh link? ;-)

Check if the file is a DOS-style text, could happen accidental during e.g.
mailtransfer. Vi displays a [dos] in this case, dos2unix will fix it for
you.
