There is a parameter in the smb.conf file that you can use to feed it the
correct space left.

I can't remember what it is, but if you search for drive space in the doc
for smb.conf you will find it.

I checked in the documentation, and I think that the option you are thinking
of is dfree command.  I will give it a try and let you know.

Sanjiv,

I tried the dfree command option, however this did not correct the problem.

Something I did notice though is that  I tried connecting from a Windows
2000 machine to one SAMBA server (version 2.2.3a) running on HP-UX 10.20.
On this server I did not have any problems with the shares free space
calculation.
