Hello , I can not understand why Samba (2.4.4) displays (sets) no oplocks on open files (through smbstatus). All shares use default settings, so oplocks and level2 settings are enabled, so oplocks shoud be used. Now all open files are like these : 15062 DENY_WRITE 0x20 RDONLY NONE /s01/vol3/fp4/ 405 DENY_NONE 0x20089 RDONLY EXCLUSIVE+BATCH /s01/inst01/ Typical settings for share are : [fp4_o] path = /s01/vol3/fp4/o read only = yes ( or no) create mask = 0660 directory mask = 0770 Thus where are oplocks :) ? Thanks for answers, Kestutis p.s I use SuSE 7.2 2.4.4-4GB -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed
