Hi,
we are running samba 2.2.2 on Solaris. Our Windows clients
suddenly (I guess since last weekend) started displaying incorrect
timestamps for the files accessed through samba. The files appear
to be created 1 hour after the actual creation (as reported on
Unix and tested by hand). I guess this is a problem with daylight
saving time somehow. Another server with the same samba version
does not seem to have the problem.
Any ideas?
Nico

Just a thought, but why don't you check the time on the server. Or read the
man pages under time offset, or check the time zone setting on the clients.

I'm no expert but have seen it before. I dont know the cause but have noticed that restarting samba fixes it. I imagine samba keeps some sort of drift or offset or something.
