samba - Feb 2002 - Unable to access Samba shares from Windows XP home ed ition

Thanks Anders,  I'll take this as verification that it can be done and
struggle on.  Does it require registry tweaks?

Nope, you don't have to change anything in your windows registry.
However, you need to have you TCP/IP settings correct.
