[Samba] Re: [Samba] Linux EXT3 support? problems flushing?
Paul, I don't know if this helps but I'm running RH7.2 on ext3 with Samba 2.2.1a & Quotas, I haven't heard any users complain yet, (300 total users). I don't believe any of them are using Outlook though, but they are using the Samba for their Groupwise MailArchive. Hope this helps... -Dusty> -----Original Message----- > From: Gerald Carter [mailto:jerry@samba.org] > Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2002, 5:51 AM > To: Paul Miller <paul-samba@pinheiro.tcimet.net> > Cc: samba@lists.samba.org > Subject: Re: [Samba] Linux EXT3 support? problems flushing? > > On Fri, 15 Feb 2002, Paul Miller wrote: > > > Does Samba fully support EXT3 filesystems? [Samba] RE: [Samba] Re: [Samba] Linux EXT3 support? problems flushing?
2.2.3a or 2.2.1a? What kernel version? I switched to ext2 and haven't noticed any problems *so far*. Perhaps the problem occurs when kjournald and samba try to flush at the same time, under high load (?). -Paul -----Original Message----- From: samba-admin@lists.samba.org [mailto:samba-admin@lists.samba.org] On Behalf Of Dusty Hall Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2002 10:02 AM To: samba@lists.samba.org Subject: [Samba] Re: [Samba] Linux EXT3 support? problems flushing?
