You are trying to mix samba team provided rpms and redhat provided rpms. You
might
for simplicitys sake want to just get the latest redhat rpms from their rawhide
distro. I have been using the 2.2.2a rpms from rawhide for awhile. They work
fine. I plan to upgrade to the 2.2.3a rawhide stuff today or tomorrow. They are
available from the redhat ftp site or any mirror. ftp.shuttleamerica.com has
them in
/pub/mirrors/redhat/linux/rawhide/i386/RedHat/RPMS
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 2690783 Feb 11 15:08 samba-2.2.3a-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 2247142 Feb 11 15:08
samba-client-2.2.3a-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 2292771 Feb 11 15:08
samba-common-2.2.3a-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 529 529 1990572 Feb 11 15:08
samba-swat-2.2.3a-1.i386.rpm
These are the latest available from redhat's rawhide. As always standard
disclaimers
wrt use of anything from rawhide apply.
